Karla E. Brevard, Founder and Director

Greetings Parents, Guardians, and Loved Ones- I welcome you into our Lit'l Ones Oasis!! I hope that you've learned a lot of the why, where, and how we operate our Lit'l Precious Ones Learning Center. To be honest, I just love children and I always have. I grew up on a Southern Farm where I "taught" my doll babies and teaching just runs through my blood!

Professionally, I am a licensced childcare provider in the state of Maryland. I have over 23 years of experience working with Lit'l Ones! I was rendered my Associates of Arts degree from Prince George's Community College in 1991 and I am CPR certified.

I look forward  to meeting each of you and come again!

Hola! Mi nombre es señora Akiya (My name is Ms. Akiya)! Side note: [We learn beginner spanish, such as our espanol numbers and colors at Lit'l Precious Ones Learning Center!] So you know, our Lit'l Ones looooove me, but I think that I love them just a tad bit more (lol).

I'm a vibrant teacher with a Bachelor of Science degree,in Biology, from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. I love to sing and play with our students as they learn through instruction and exploration. Whether it's sitting on the floor during morning circle time or working out to some kool kids songs, I just love what I do.

I look forward to meeting your Lit'l Ones too!

- Ms. Akiya

An Elated Hello to Each of You!

I am super happy that you decided to stop by and visit our website. Whether you're looking for excellent childcare or lots of color, you'll be sure to find both here! I wear many hats just like our Lit'l one in the above picture. :-)

I am assistant teacher with over 6 years of educational experience assisting our Lit'l ones to thrive into Kindergarten. I enjoy helping guide our children towards healthy development of their fine and gross motor skills, such as holding a pencil and kicking a ball. More importantly, I seek to implement that every child remains safe and well-taken care of!

It would be an honor to meet your Lit'l One!

- Ms. Nelson
